Pei has dropped his new album, Pei’s Pageant, to critical acclaim. The debut LP is fronted by the single ‘Medicine’. It’s a hugely memorable track filled with effortless melody that oozes from his direct, heartfelt voice and lyricism. “This is the first thing I ever wrote in 2012, ten or so years ago,” he explains. “It’s about my first ever love and first ever heartbreak. I thought the world of this person, she was the cure to society.” The album, released on Fiji Day, is a celebration and memory of Fiji and Fijian culture, weaved into a glorious mixture of indie, pop and rock music.
